Refund Policy
Standard Refund Terms:
All deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled pickup time are non-refundable in full.
If you cancel 48+ hours before pickup, and have paid in full, you will receive an 80% refund of your total amount paid.
No refunds will be issued due to dissatisfaction with venue experiences unless the venue refunds that portion to Texas Day Trips.
Weather Policy:
If a customer cancels due to weather but venues remain open, no refund will be issued.
If Texas Day Trips or the venues cancel due to inclement weather, a full refund will be issued, including deposits.
Please Note:
Wine tours and tubing trips are booked through our trusted partner, ATX Tours, and are subject to their own refund policies. Be sure to review their terms via the links provided on our booking page.
Additionally, individual venues may enforce their own refund restrictions. Texas Day Trips cannot refund charges for experiences that are booked at non-refundable venues, even if canceled more than 48 hours before departure.
Terms & Conditions
ATX Tours Bookings:
Wine tours and river float experiences are booked through ATX Tours and follow their own Terms & Conditions. Venue-specific terms may also apply and must be accepted at each location.
Booking & Payments:
All deposits are non-refundable.
Final balances are due to be paid in full by 48 hours before the scheduled tour.
Bookings made less than 48 hours in advance must pay in full when booking.
Reservation Changes:
Reply to your confirmation email to request changes, or text 512-214-4392 for changes and fastest response.
Changes made within 48 hours are subject to availability.
Passenger Policy:
Add passengers at any time (up to 14 total).
Remove passengers 48+ hours in advance for an 80% refund per person.
No refunds for passengers removed within 48 hours of departure.
Overtime Charges:
A 15-minute grace period is offered after your scheduled drop-off time, before hourly charges may be applied. Drop-off times are determined by your pick up-time and length of tour.
After that, a fee of $85/hour applies, billed in 15-minute increments.
Vehicle Use & Liability:
Texas Day Trips is not responsible for mechanical breakdowns, but we will coordinate alternative transportation if needed.
Customers are financially responsible for any damage caused by their group.
A $350 minimum cleaning fee applies to stains, excessive mess, or bodily fluids.
Illegal drug use or underage drinking is prohibited. Any violations are the customer’s responsibility.
The driver may terminate the tour without refund in cases of dangerous, illegal, or disruptive behavior.
We are not liable for lost or forgotten items.
Failure to arrive on time may result in missed venue reservations without refund.
Venue Conduct:
Venues may refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive guests.
If your group exceeds the allotted venue time, additional vehicle time may be billed at the standard hourly rate.
Acknowledgment of Risk & Waiver of Liability
By booking a tour with Texas Day Trips, you acknowledge and accept that certain activities — including but not limited to paddleboarding — carry inherent risks, including risk of injury, property damage, or other unforeseen events.
Texas Day Trips acts as a transportation provider and booking facilitator for certain activities operated by third-party vendors. You agree that Texas Day Trips is not liable for any injury, loss, or damages incurred during activities conducted by third-party providers, including paddleboarding.
All guests participating in water activities will be required to sign a waiver of liability directly with the activity provider upon arrival. By booking, you agree to comply with the safety rules and terms set by these providers.
By booking a tour, you (and all participants in your group) voluntarily assume all risks related to participation and release Texas Day Trips and its staff from any liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
